Plough Lane is an adult only site run by resident owners Roger and Helen Wilding. Set amidst landscaped grounds each pitch is a good size and offers hardstanding for each unit and awning with a grass area to sit out and enjoy. The site attracts like minded adults who are not looking for club houses, radios, ball games, etc. and is therefore very quiet and relaxed.
The toilet and shower block is heated and kept to a high standard. Music and a mural of local attractions add to the 'at home' atmosphere. There is a separate room which has facilities for less able visitors providing shower and toilet rails, padded seat with detachable shower head, etc. A well equipped laundry is available at all times.
There is a good bus service from just outside the site which links with the train service to Bath, Bristol and Swindon. There is a pub serving good food within walking distance of the site.
The site is well situated for touring the Cotswolds, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and South Wales and the Forest of Dean. It is very close to a number of golf courses and cycle ways. There are many places to visit in the area - our own web site has a page of ideas for those wishing to investigate further.
