Woodovis Park is a tranquil site situated in some of England's most beautiful countryside on the border of Devon and Cornwall. It is run by John and Dorothy Lewis and their dedicated staff, who go out of their way to ensure a warm welcome is always guaranteed. Over the past seasons they have worked very hard to ensure the highest standards of facilities have been made possible without changing the special tranquil nature of the Park.

The park is at the end of a splendid half-mile avenue of beech trees, well away from the road and the bustle of everyday life. It consists of 14 acres, which nestle in a sheltered wooded position on the edge of the Tamar Valley. Time simply drifts by in the tranquil surroundings and friendly atmosphere of Woodovis Park.

You can start your day with freshly baked croissants, still warm from the oven, perhaps followed by a game of mini-golf or simply relax by the heated indoor pool with its spa and sauna. At lunchtime you could always stroll up to the local pub for a bar snack - only five minutes away. If you can drag yourself away from the Park then you will find a great deal to do both locally and further afield.

Woodovis Park is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday or to use as a base from which to explore the Dartmoor area and the North and South coasts of Devon and Cornwall. The historic town of Tavistock is just 4 miles away, with the indoor Pannier market, lots of tea shops and nooks and crannies to explore. Spend the day at the fascinating Morwellham Quay or Cornwall's newest attraction the amazing Eden Project. National Trust properties within easy reach are Cotehele House and Quay, Saltram House and the exciting walk along Lydford Gorge.

There is no doubt that for a relaxing enjoyable break, away from the hustle bustle of life, it would be hard to find a more perfect place to stay than at Woodovis Park.

The Park has a total of 35 holiday homes, some privately owned and some that can be hired out on a weekly basis. There is one holiday cottage and camping and caravanning pitches for 50 units in total.
