From M5:
At M5 Jt 8 turn off onto the M50 (21.9 miles).
At the end of the M50 Jt 4 (Ross-on-Wye) go onto the A449 (0.9miles) Go onto A40, and then turn right at the roundabout (1.2miles)
Onto the A49, (5.5 miles) and then
Onto the B4348 sign posted to Hay-on-Wye. There is a brown sign clearly visible with 'Indoor Bowling' on. (13.3 miles)
From Abergavenny:
Do not take the road for Peterchurch in Pontrilas - not a suitable road for tourers. Continue on the A465 to the Shell Garage at Allensmore (Locks Garage) on a staggered crossroads. Turn left on to the B4348 signed posted to Hay-on-Wye and continue until you reach Poston Mill Park.
