Campsite's own web site
A small secluded site, lying close to the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall. Tents, caravans, children and dogs will all have a warm welcome at this family-run site, only ten minutes walk from the most dramatic section of the Wall.

First class facilities in our new centrally heated shower block include laundry/drying room, fridge freezer, sauna and a new bunk barn which sleeps eight people.

The bunk barn accommodation is in two bedrooms, each sleeping four and a common room with comfortable seating, and kitchen facilities.
Our site has had rave reviews this season and also appears in Cool Camping.

Based on a small upland farm, our site is ideally located for visiting many Roman Sites and there are wonderful walks in all directions. Situated at about 700 feet there are great views from the site and it is a great place for birdwatching, wildlife, local history and archaeology - or just a place to chill out.

Running close by are the Pennine Way, the Hadrians Wall Trail, the Cycle Trail and Pennine Bridle Way. Accommodation for horses/bikes is also available.

The facilities are wheelchair accessible with a purpose built shower/toilet unit for people with mobility needs.
Groups welcome.

Highlights
  • An ideal spot for those walking the Wall.
