Scourie
The Caravan Park, on the A894, overlooks the Bay near Scourie Village. There is a sandy beach close to the Park and the bay is safe for swimming and boating - a launching slipway is nearby. Those interested in skin diving find the water exeptionally clear, with no pollution.

The park has electric hook-ups, for which there is an extra chrge. All tents must be re-sited after six days. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and exercised elsewhere.

There is a well equipped laundry/dish wash room. Facilities include washing machines, spin dryer, tumble dryer and iron.
Showers are not metered and there is unlimited hot water. The toilet block is of a high standard with full facilities for the disabled.

The Anchorage Restaurant/Bar, is situated at the enterance to the Caravan Park. It is open daily.

There is a well stocked shop with Post Office and Off Licence in the village(200M), also a Petrol Station which sells bottled gas.

Nearby is the famous Handa Island Bird Sanctuary with numerous varieties of sea birds during the breeding season. There are sandy beaches and spectacular 300ft. high clifs.

Unlimited Hill Walking offers ample opportunity for studying plant and animal life. Golden eagle, deer, otter, badger, wildcat and pine marten are native to the area. Seals may be seen at many places around the coast.

Scourie and District Angling Club stock and maintain numerous lochs for those interested in fishing for brown trout. Daily tickets and boat hire are available.
