Wood Park is a sheltered well-planned, family-owned and run Park,
nestling in beautiful countryside just off the main Tenby road, only one mile from Tenby and one and a half miles from the ever-popular Saundersfoot and just 15 minutes walk from Waterwynch Bay.

Our aim is to provide our customers with traditional family service combined with value for money. It is hardly surprising then, that our high standards and location bring back holiday visitors year after year - we must be doing something right!

The Park is organised into five sections - four for static holiday caravans - with some areas just for privately-owned caravans - and one for touring caravans and tents, allowing a degree of privacy and seclusion for everyone.

At Wood Park we aim to cater for families and couples on our well-kept family owned and run Park.

We always try to provide the best possible service for our customers whilst giving value for money, and it is with this in mind that we make available a selection of holiday homes to suit all pockets. Designed with space and comfort we have looked for a selection of holiday homes that give that important home from home feeling.

We give you a choice of modern caravans, all of which are fully equipped and feature a fully fitted kitchen with full size cooker, microwave and fridge, shower, toilet, hot water, heating in the lounge and colour TV. Three bedroom caravans are suitable for up to 6 persons including babies and children. Two bedrooms are for up to 4 persons including babies and children. All you need to bring with you is your own personal linen ie bed linen, towels etc.

We do not allow pets in our caravans at any time.

Our touring caravan pitches are marked out and most have 10 amp electrical hook-ups and space for your awning. However, if you wish, we have pitches without electric or awning which are priced accordingly.

Tents are welcome on the park with suitably sheltered areas and the option to have an electric hook-up or not.

Completely uncommercialised, the park is maintained to a high standard and landscaped with trees and shrubs to blend with the natural environment. There is a tarmac service road around most of the touring area and there is ample room for children to burn off excess energy in safety.

Our excellent modern toilet/shower block, with hair drying and shaver points, and under-cover washing-up area are central for everyone's convenience and you have full use of all the Park facilities - meet your new friends in our friendly licensed bar and enjoy a drink without having to drink and drive. Please note - we do not have entertainment, discos, bingo or karaoke.

The games room with pool tables, videos games etc is the ideal place for children to escape to while Mum gets their meal ready after a day out. Younger children may prefer to use their surplus energy at the play area.

Calor gas is available from reception during office hours.

Pets - we regret that we do not allow pets on the touring/camping area during Bank Holiday weeks and during the summer school holidays. At other times one small pet only allowed, which must be kept on a lead and not allowed to foul the park grounds.

Utilities
We have an excellent modern toilet shower block with hairdrying points where you can plug in your own appliances such as hair dryers or curling tongs.

We have a small well-equipped laundry room, with deep sink, washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities.

There is a separate under-cover washing up area with deep sinks.

Owning your own caravan
If you are looking to buy your own Holiday Home for private family use, we will be pleased to show you around our family-owned and run Park. We can offer fully-serviced pitches for any holiday caravan of your choice, sited on a concrete base. .

Remember - your own home on holiday gives you the freedom to make the most of your leisure time, whether it's a weekend retreat or for your annual holidays. Once you have bought your Holiday Caravan you can come and go as you please - no other holiday gives you as much freedom of choice. We regret we do not allow sub-letting.

Things to see and do
When you holiday at Wood Park, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring the delights of Pembrokeshire - Tenby is just a mile away, while the popular resort of Saundersfoot is one and a half miles away.

You don't have to travel far for horse-riding, fishing, sailing, surfing or to play golf. Oakwood - Wales's largest theme park - is just a short drive from Wood Park, along with other local attractions such as Folly Farm, Heatherton Sports Park and the Dinosaur Park.

Although the coastline is never very far away, with safe beaches, magnificent cliffs, wildlife havens and miles of seaview walks, you may prefer a different form of relaxation. Don't worry - there are plenty of other things to do and places to go.

Visit the magnificent cathedral at St. Davids, or the humble chapel at St. Govans or one of the many Landsker castles built by the English in South Pembrokeshire to separate themselves from the welsh-speaking North Pembrokeshire. Hence, the traditional name for South Pembrokeshire being 'little England beyond Wales'.

Take a boat trip to nearby Caldey Island, where the Cistercian monks make their own chocolate and perfume.

Whatever you prefer - peaceful settings or a fun-packed seaside town, there is always something to provide enjoyment for every age group in Pembrokeshire.
